I was in the mood for some good soulfood and just happened to pass by this place while looking for another. I decided to go here instead and Im glad I did. The food was absolutely delicious and I mean everything. Definitely my new favorite spot.
I dont give 5 stars out lightly. But dolls food is beyond 5 stars... ALL OF IT. I wish you luck at being able to get there early enough to get a plate of whatever they choose to bless us in Nashville with that Day! It can go quick so it sells out some days so good
Very friendly service. got the baked chicken and stuffing.Macaroni and cheese turnip greens and the extra corn bread. They made it just like my grandma used to. So good.

I needed a place to eat while I was passing through Nashville and I very much enjoyed the fried chicken, maccheese, and baked beans. The peach cobbler was cold, but probably would have tasted better if it was still warm. There were plenty of options to choose from and everything had good flavor and seasoning. I would eat there again.
A reliable, small southern meat and three. Find it through a single door under a faded sign off the side street. Choose a main and two sides, theyll add a cornbread fritter. Comfort food at the right price. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes were exceptional.
Great food and friendly staff! Absolutely love their fried chicken! Although there is seating at Dolls, Ive never seen anyone dine inside at the restaurant. And I agree with others... wish they stayed open past 5pm so I could pick up dinner for the family on the way home.
Im visiting from out of state and this place is delicious! I got the ribs, greens, and Mac. The staff was helpful as well. Delish delish. A must try!
